T3 Stepper Motors are a new generation of stepper motors with an excellent cost-performance ratio compared to typical 2-phase stepper and 3-phase brushless servo motors.
Key Features of T3 Stepper Motors:
- Maintain initial torque at higher speeds with a more gradual torque drop after the inflection point
- A 30 pole-pair teeth rotor results in a 3-degree teeth angle resolution (compared to 1.8 degree resolution of traditional 2-ph steppers)
- Can be controlled in open-loop or closed-loop with any typical 2-phase stepper driver or servo controller
- Ideally suited for mid to high speed motion applications requiring good speed-torque performance
